Assembly approves missing persons’ law

A plaque in honor to disappeared or missing persons was unveiled at the seat of the National Assembly, following the approval of related legislation.

The President of the Occasional Committee, Absalon Campoverde thanked the unanimous support received for the Organic Law of Action in the Case of Disappeared and Missing Persons.

The legislation creates the National Registry of Disappeared, Missing, Identified, and Unidentified Persons, administered by the Government Ministry, as a technological, computerized platform that organizes and concentrates the technical-scientific information.
