Israel launches new air raid on Syria’s airport

Israel has reportedly launched a new air raid on Syria’s Aleppo airport, some 400 kilometers north of Damascus.

According to sources, three missiles hit the airport’s runways, while others fell in the nearby area of the Al-Nayrab Airbase section, east of Aleppo.

The Ministry of Defense has not yet made a statement on this hostile action nor whether it left human or material losses.

Israeli missiles targeted several positions in the municipality of Messiaf, in Hama province, about 250 kilometers northwest of Damascus, on March 12, while Israeli fighter planes shelled the Aleppo Airport on March 7, putting it out of service.

These aggressions occur amid a catastrophic situation Syria is experiencing following the earthquakes that shook several provinces on February 6.
