The company conducted surveys in Quito and Guayaquil for the President and main authorities.
The company “Perfiles de Opinion” (Opinion Profiles) published its monthly report on the rating given to the management of President Lenin Moreno; Vice President Otto Sonnenholzner; National Assembly; and mayors of Quito and Guayaquil.
In Quito and Guayaquil, a study was conducted last October in which 620 people -Ecuadorians over 18 years old- were interviewed. Of this sample, 45.93 percent described the president’s management as bad; while 20.99 percent said it is good.
On the Vice President, 45.84 percent rated his management as bad and 27.44 percent as good. The rest of the answers were distributed among very good, very bad, do not know and do not answer.
In relation to the National Assembly, 56.81 percent said that the management of this entity is bad; while only 13.63 percent said it is good.
The mayors of Quito and Guayaquil were also qualified. Of the 315 people who were interviewed in Quito, 47.11 percent said that the management of Mayor Jorge Yunda is good; while 32.45 percent said it is bad.
Of 305 respondents in Guayaquil, 44.63 percent rated the management of Mayor Cynthia Viteri as good; while 30.64 percent said it is bad.
