Prefect’s defense will take several measures to prevent her from losing her position.
The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) will respond to the preventive measures requested in favor of the Prefect of Pichincha, Paola Pabon in order to be released.
These precautionary measures were requested to the IACHR by the prefect’s family, who are expecting a positive response from the international organization.
On December 8, the 60-day leave without pay -that Pabon requested to the Provincial Council to address her legal situation- will conclude.
Pabon applied for this license to avoid losing her popular representation charge. According to her sister, Priscilla Pabon, her lawyer will request the vacation to which she is entitled as a public official.
