The authorities intervened in 60 hotspots in the capital where they found clandestine parties and two cockfights.
This last weekend, members of the National Police, the Pichincha Intendancy and the Metropolitan Control Agency carried out several operations in the capital, where more than 1.500 mass meetings were found.
The operations that lasted 6 hours intervened more than 60 critical points in the capital, where the control authorities found clandestine parties and also cockfights. 97 acts were lifted for not having permits or misuse of them.
In the Los Chillos and Lomas de Cumbayá sectors, the authorities detected two events of cockfighting that did not have the necessary permits; in these meetings more than 80 people were cleared.
The authorities also detected several clandestine parties in Puembo, with 150 people crowded together; El Quinche, with 30; Algeria added 200; Lower Algeria, with 150; Wholesale Market, with 500 people; Geovanny Calle, with 100; and Martha Bucaram, with 50. At all these sites the attendees were evicted and the respective sanctions were lifted.
On the other hand, the crowds are also registering naturally in the sports fields of the different neighborhoods. This weekend, the authorities evicted 20 people in the Balcón del Valle neighborhood; 70 in Fight of the Poor and in La Comuna and 50 in Oyambarillo.
