The Youth Against Cancer Foundation confirmed that 29 cancer patients have been infected with Covid-19, of which 4 have died.
Youth Against Cancer officially requested the government of Ecuador to include cancer patients in the next phase of the Vaccination Plan. Gustavo Dávila, director of the Foundation, hopes that the issue of vaccines will be handled technically and not politically.

The Ministry of Public Health has not responded to this request, and does not present the list of people already vaccinated against Covid-19 in the country. Among the privileged are the former minister, Juan Carlos Zeballos, his mother and other government collaborators.
