The events in the Capitol led Washington to be declared an emergency for the next 15 days.
Washington police confirmed that 4 people died amid protests by Donald Trump supporters at the United States capitol. A woman was killed by a gunshot by the uniformed and the other 3 victims suffered medical emergencies.
Ashli Babbitt, is the woman who died in the recent events, when she tried to break a door protected by the police. After the shooting she was rushed to a hospital, where she passed away shortly after.
Official reports dictate that 14 policemen were injured, one of them seriously and is hospitalized. Meanwhile, another agent was wounded in the face when he was hit by a projectile launched by the protesters.
The riots left 52 people in custody, two tube bombs seized, as well as a firearm and a cocktail of Molotov cocktails on the capitol grounds. Washington was declared an emergency for the next 15 days.
