This Thursday, January 7, 2021, the outgoing president of the United States, Donald Trump, recognized that his mandate has ended and promised an “orderly transition” of powers. Congress ratified the victory of the Democratic leader, Joe Biden.
Trump confirmed that although he disagrees with the results of the last November elections, on January 20 there will be an “orderly transition” of powers with Joe Biden and the new cabinet.
“Although I totally disagree with the outcome of the elections, and the facts are on my side, however, there will be an orderly transition on January 20,” the president commented through the social networks of one of his advisors, because their accounts are still suspended.
Donald Trump leaves the White House without officially acknowledging the victory of his rival, but accepting that his government has ended.
