Luis Almagro is responsible for the death of many Bolivians, says Evo Morales

Almagro is a coup plotter and must resign, Evo Morales stressed.

Through his Twitter account, the former president of Bolivia, Evo Morales, responded to the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, who in an interview with CNN assured that in 2019 he asked the former president not to resign the presidency.

“First because of a political responsibility to fulfill the Constitutional mandate and secondly because there were people who stood up for him and could not leave them lying down, it was a political responsibility of a leader to stand in front of his people and Evo fled and abandoned his people”, Almagro said

Faced with this, Morales stressed that Almagro’s statements are false and that even the last time they were in contact was in May 2019. “He is a coup leader and must resign.”

He recalled that it was the OAS report that caused the coup in Bolivia, which is why he stressed that Almagro’s hands are stained with blood: “And he is, together with his team, responsible not only for the genocide but also for the economic murder.”
