In Guayaquil, the journalist Ángel Sánchez died, from contagion of the coronavirus epidemic, in the Guasmo Sur hospital, he could not bear the viral force and a heart attack ended his life.
Sánchez was a former news manager at Ecuavisa Informa, and a former news director at Gamavision, with 34 years of experience on Ecuadorian television. In his wake he left his professional quality and great friends.
