Nicaragua to participate in Sao Paulo Forum

A Nicaraguan delegation led by the president of the National Assembly, Gustavo Porras, will participate in the regional meeting for Mesoamerica and the Caribbean of the Sao Paulo Forum, to be held in Cuba.

The Vice President of Nicaragua, Rosario Murillo, reported that the Nicaraguan representation is also made up of the Vice President of the parliament, Arling Alonso, and the diplomats Orlando Tardencilla and Michael Campbell.

“Tomorrow, (we will be) making our message of greeting to the forum that brings us all together as social, labor movements, political parties, which will meet in person and virtually from Havana, Heroic and victorious Cuba,” Murillo announced on Thursday.

Founded in Brazil in 1990 by the Workers’ Party, the Sao Paulo forum is a mechanism in which left-wing movements from the region, as well as from continents such as Europe and Asia, participate.
