The race to reach the presidency in Colombia continues on Thursday and is becoming more and more intense, but it is still the candidate from the Historical Pact, Gustavo Petro, who is taking the lead in the territories he visits.

On Thursday, the rally is at the San Antonio Park, in Medellin, where the candidate will be accompanied by senators and elected representatives to Congress, and where he will share with the population his government program and at the same time he will listen to their concerns and problems.

On Wednesday, in Neiva, department of Huila, Petro and the Historic Pact received mass support at Los Libertadores Civic Square, downtown in the city.

Petro proposed to the people of Huila to turn this region into an agrarian power for Colombia.

The candidate noted that industrialization will be the tool that will generate wealth for farmers, since they will be the owners of the added value generated by the transformation of the products.

Petro stressed that women play an essential role in achieving this goal and must be “powerful, owners of the land and industrialization.”
