The mayor of the city of Donetsk, Alexei Kulemzin, declared that the Ukrainian Army uses weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements against civilians of the Donbass region.
“The events of the last few days show that there is no place in the city that is safe. Recently, the central area of the city was attacked with a (OTR-21) Tochka-U missile outfitted with a cluster munitions warhead,” he told the TASS news agency.
The official pointed out that on Wednesday, a multi-story building in the Kirovski district of the city was hit by a discharge of an BM-27 Uragan multiple rocket launcher system.
“There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that everything prohibited by the Minsk agreements is being used against civilians in the city,” Kulemzin said, noting that the city is bombarded on a daily basis.
