The Foreign Minister of Turkey, Mevlut Cavusoglu, considered the possibility of a new meeting between his Russian and Ukrainian counterparts in less than two weeks, local media reported.
According to the minister, a higher-level meeting can be organized in a week or two, similar to the one held this week in Istanbul, where the Russian and Ukrainian delegations tried to reduce tensions.
The goal is for the two sides to come together and agree on a lasting ceasefire, Cavusoglu said in an interview on local television.
Turkey already hosted on March 10th the first meeting between the diplomatic leaders of Russia and Ukraine, Sergei Lavrov and Dmitro Kuleba, respectively, which ended without tangible progress.
