The National Union of Educators (UNE) called for a national mobilization for this March 4, 2022, in rejection of the report for the first debate approved by the Education Commission on the reforms to the Organic Law of Higher Education (LOEI).
They point out that the approved report ratifies the salary balance and creates the conditions for the Constitutional Court to declare the unconstitutionality of the right of teachers to have a fair remuneration.
They criticize that the Commission only refers to financing in a narrative manner in the background of the report.
On special retirement, they reject that the Education Commission proposes the repeal of this article. “This shows the lack of consistency of the legislators who at the time decided to defend the integrality of the reformed LOEI,” says the UNE.
“Apparently there is a group of assembly members who are watching over the back of the Government and not the rights of the Teachers,” he claimed.
They demand that the Legislative Assembly pronounce itself so that the regulations are corrected.
