The President of the Republic, Guillermo Lasso, announced that they are working together with the Ministry of Transport and Public Works for the concession of most of the country’s highways.
With this, the President stated that the long-term maintenance of the roads will be guaranteed and ensured.
For this, the Minister of Transportation, Marcelo Cabrera, would already be conducting negotiations with several private companies interested in the concession of highways, through a public-private alliance.
