Students can get vaccinated in Ecuador

Students older than 16 years of fiscal, private, fiscal and municipal educational institutions of the Metropolitan District of Quito, who are not vaccinated with the first dose against COVID-19, may be inoculated this Wednesday, July 28.

This is the first open call from the Metropolitan District’s Undersecretariat of Education, to advance with the 9/100 Vaccination Plan.

From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., students whose ID ends in even numbers will be able to attend the different vaccination centers in Quito. Likewise, those students with an odd ID may attend from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The vaccination points in the capital authorized to apply the doses of Sinovac, Pfizer and AstraZeneca to students are the following:

Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE)
Coliseum of the Quitumbe Municipal Educational Unit
University of the Americas (Granados headquarters)
UTE University (Rumipamba headquarters)
Megamaxi in Av. 6 de Diciembre
Carapungo Shopping Portal
