A new batch with 76,050 doses of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine arrived in Ecuador
The shipment arrived at the Mariscal Sucre Airport and will be used to continue with phase 3 of the 9/100 Vaccination Plan, called “Minor contagion”, in which people between 49 and 16 years of age are vaccinated.
According to the Ministry of Health, so far the country has received around 10.3 million doses between Pfizer, Sinovac and AstraZeneca.
Until July 11, 5,786,147 doses of the vaccines have been applied throughout the national territory; of which 4,088,423 correspond to first inoculations and 1,697,724 are second doses.
