Ecuador will receive seven million more doses of the Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine. This new negotiation adds to the 8,220,000 already contracted with the Chinese pharmaceutical company.
The Ministry of Health reported that these doses will be applied in the Vaccination Plan and their arrival is expected in three parts.
Two million are expected to arrive this weekend; while next week another batch will arrive with two million more of the drug.
The third shipment, with three million more, is expected to arrive in the country at the end of July.
This new negotiation, according to Salud indicated, is thanks to “excellent relations with strategic partners” that allows Ecuador to have various negotiation spaces for the management of safe drugs for citizens.
