Ecuador will receive two million Pfizer vaccines as a donation from the United States

Two million doses of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine will receive Ecuador as part of a donation from the United States. The first shipment is expected to arrive this week.

This was reported by the Ministry of Health this Tuesday, June 29, through a statement in which the US Government plans to assign about 14 million doses of vaccines to Latin America and the Caribbean.

With this pharmaceutical company, the Ecuadorian Government has negotiated a total of 5,999,955 doses of its vaccine, to immunize the population against Covid-19.

According to the vaccinometer implemented by Health, until June 28, 4’091,026 doses of vaccines have been applied throughout the national territory; of which 2747.894 are first doses and 1343.132 are first doses.

Only from Pfizer, so far, 1,413,569 formulas have been applied between first and second doses.
