This Sunday, June 6, 2021, a new batch with 204,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine will arrive in the country, to continue with the restructured vaccination plan called 9/100.
This was confirmed by the President of the Republic, Guillermo Lasso, through his Twitter account, this morning.
“What joy it gives me to write you this message, to tell you that they have confirmed that this Sunday, June 6, 204,000 more doses of AstraZeneca vaccines will arrive in our country,” Lasso said.
This would be the fourth batch that Ecuador will receive, as part of the agreement of 5,040,000 doses of the drug from this pharmaceutical company, despite the delay and non-compliance with the schedule by this laboratory.
The 204,000 formulas that will arrive on Sunday will be used in the vaccination process with which the Government promised to vaccinate 9 million people in 100 days.
