(Prensa Latina) Bolivia’s President Luis Arce on Tuesday ratified that Bolivian and Russian companies are seeking to advance a roadmap for the development of investments and projects in the energy sector.
On Twitter, Arce mentioned that the Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB) State company agreed with Russia’s Gazprom, at the 24th St. Petersburg Economic Forum, to advance investment projects in Bolivia.
He added that they will also design a bi-national deal for sectorial development.
Bolivia recently participated in the 24th St. Petersburg International Forum held from June 2 to 5, which is the main international platform for contact between representatives of the business community for integration plans.
According to an institutional press release, Bolivia’s Minister of Hydrocarbons and Energy Franklin Molina met there with the highest authority of Gazprom, Alexey Miller, and discussed ‘the implementation of current and future proposals in Bolivia and the development of gas industry projects in the country.’
