(Prensa Latina) Argentine Vice President Cristina Fernandez on Tuesday called on her fellow country men and women to be more united and supportive than ever at these difficult times, and recalled the 211st anniversary of the May Revolution.
‘At difficult times, more united and supportive than ever. Long live the homeland, Argentinian men and women,’ the vice president tweeted with a photo of former President Nestor Kirchner kissing the national flag.
With this message, Fernandez also recalled her late husband on the 18th anniversary of his inauguration as head of State.
Several Kirchner’s fans paid tribute to him on Twitter, where the #Nestorvive hashtag is a trend on this platform at present.
Images of the former president with Fernandez and some videos from the time when he arrived at Casa Rosada (Pink House) for the first time have gone viral on social media, where many people are recalling May 25, 2003.
