Cuban Embassy in Guyana denies support for air operation

(Prensa Latina) The Cuban Embassy in Guyana on Thursday denied information about its alleged support for a charter flight to bring people from Cuba.

In a communiqué, the diplomatic mission referred to telephone calls received recently on the alleged organization of a flight from Havana, specifically to bring people who come for visa procedures at the Embassy of the United States.

The Cuban Embassy pointed out that flights between the two countries are suspended due to the epidemiological situation caused by Covid-19, and that information was provided timely by Cuban civil aeronautics authorities.
