Government ministers, former presidents, businessmen and even the president’s wife, Lenín Moreno, would make up the list of V.I.P. that they would have been vaccinated with the first doses of the Pfizer vaccine, which arrived in the country.
According to the digital media, La Posta, part of the privileged were invited by Moreno himself. The doses would have been distributed in four stages, in different medical centers such as the Metropolitan Hospital, the Chimbacalle Health Center, the Los Valles Hospital and Carondelet.
In the first stage, as revealed by this media, on January 23, the Defense Minister, Oswaldo Jarrín; Candidate Guillermo Lasso’s advisor, Jaime Durán Barba, and his brother, Rodrigo Durán Barba, reportedly received the first dose.
That same day the vaccine was reportedly applied to Carlos Larreátegui, Chancellor of the University of the Americas (UDLA); former finance minister Pablo Better; and the former president, Oswaldo Hurtado.
All of them, along with the mother of the former minister, Juan Carlos Zevallos, were reportedly immunized at the Hospital de Los Valles.
Others of the vaccinated who are part of this V.I.P list are Ricardo Izurrieta, member of the Izurrieta Mora Bowen law firm; there are also names such as:

Ana Beatriz Nardi
Roberto Calisto
Gabriela espinosa
On the other hand, in what would be the second stage of the privileged, with the doses of the American pharmaceutical company, is the wife of the first president, Rocío González de Moreno; Moreno’s assistant, Freddy Miño; his advisor, Liz Giler; as well as officials from his close circle.
The sports leader, Rodrigo Paz, and his wife, Graciela Rodríguez, the journalist and director of Radio Democracia, Gonzalo Rosero, as well as Emilio Najas, Telesusesos legal representative, were also vaccinated, according to this investigation.
These characters are joined by journalist Diego Oquendo, who did confirm that he was invited to be part of the vaccination process. All of them would have been inoculated at the Chimbacalle Health Center, south of Quito.
The Secretary General of the Cabinet, Jorge Wated, would have asked the ministers who are part of the Moreno government to confirm whether or not they have been vaccinated against the coronavirus after the dissemination of this list
