The president of the United States will sign 3 new decrees that seek to change the policies and measures that his predecessor, Donald Trump, established in the country. Biden considers that the measures of the previous president were “divisive” and “cruel”
The government’s executive order seeks to “restore faith,” according to various officials of the current cabinet, this new legal framework will ask the departments of State, Justice and Internal Security “to review the naturalization process” in order to streamline it and make it more accessible to the more than 9 million immigrants who are eligible.
The other two decrees that the current president of the United States will sign will seek to analyze the “Public Charge Law”, with which the government denied permanent residence to all immigrants who already received state aid.
Another of the new government’s priorities will be to reunite parents and children, who were separated by Donald Trump’s “0 tolerance” policy. More than 600 minors remain away from their parents, therefore, the authorities are looking for initiatives to be able to bring them together again.
