Ecuadorians residing in Panama will be able to vote

The Embassy of Ecuador in Panama summoned Ecuadorians residing in that Central American nation to exercise their right to vote in the general elections this Sunday, February 7.

Voting will take place at the Embassy’s facilities, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., in compliance with the biosafety measures in force in Panama City.

According to an official statement “thanks to multiple efforts and insistence, this Diplomatic Mission has obtained the respective official authorization from the Government of Panama to carry out the Electoral Process 2021.”

Registered Ecuadorian citizens who wish to vote must carry a safe-conduct, issued by the Embassy of Ecuador in that country, in addition to the passport and identity card, to verify nationality.
