Joe Biden is the 46th President of the United States

The new president of the United States promised to rule “for all” Americans.

This Wednesday, January 20, 2020, the United States began a new era with Joe Biden at the helm and with Kamala Harris as the first female vice president in the history of that country. The ceremony was marked by union speeches and also by the absence of outgoing President Donald Trump.

At 11:48 in the morning Joe Biden started a new path in the country’s public administration, previously he had been vice president of Barack Obama and a senator for the state of Pennsylvania. The Democratic leader did not miss the opportunity to remind victims that the country has lost to Covid-19.

“Let’s face the pandemic as a single nation. My first action as president is to ask you to join me in prayer to remember the 400.000 people who have lost their lives to the coronavirus, ”said President Biden.

The president also recalled the terrible events that occurred on January 6 at the capitol, where pro-Trump protesters wanted to prevent the transition of power. Biden said that he will rule “for all” American citizens.

This possession was also marked by the important participation of women such as Lady Gaga, who sang the anthem of the United States, Jennifer Lopez, who also performed a musical piece and called for “justice and freedom for all.”

Donald Trump did not attend the ceremony and never acknowledged a public defeat against Biden, but he lived up to tradition and left a letter at the White House to the new president. The outgoing president also promised to return in the future.
