Argentine Ministry of Health approves use of Sputnik V vaccine

The National Administration of Medicines, Food and Medical Technology (Anmat) of Argentina approved this Wednesday in a ministerial resolution the use of the Sputnik V vaccine, developed by the National Center of Gamaleya for Epidemiology and Microbiology of Russia.

In his official Twitter account, the Minister of the Nation pointed out that the resolution urgently authorizes the circulation of the drug against Covid-19 and pointed out that “we are in a position to start this great vaccination campaign.”

He also pointed out that it will be distributed and applied throughout the country for free and that with the arrival of the drug, logistics will begin never before, for a federal and equitable distribution with each of the Argentine provinces.

The Argetina Airlines plane took off from Russia to the country with a total of 300.000 vaccines which will be administered by the Holy authorities.
