Ecuador registers 189.534 cases of COVID-19

From Monday, November 23 to this Friday, the 27th, the country increased 3.590 cases of coronavirus

Ecuador resitres 1.396 cases of coronavirus and 42 more deaths in the last 24 hours. This Friday, November 27, 2020, the country has 189.534 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 13.358 deaths due to the pandemic.

This week, Ecuador registers between 700 and 900 daily cases. This Friday 1.396 infected were registered. From Monday, November 23 to this Friday, the 27th, the country increased 3.590 new cases of Covid19.

According to the Ministry of Health, 8.825 people have died with a positive diagnosis. To this number are added the 4.400 deaths that were probably caused by the respiratory virus.

At the national level, there are 500 stable hospitalized patients and 357 with a reserved prognosis. In total, there are 857 interned in one day. While 91 more people were discharged from hospital.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the country has added a total of 164.009 recovered patients, which represents 88.35% of the total infected.

Pichincha increased 452 new infections and 11 more deaths in the last 24 hours. The province, the epicenter of the pandemic, has 68.168 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus. Pichincha surpassed Guayas in the number of deaths confirmed by COVID-19 with 1.901 deaths and Guayas with 1.784.

However, Guayas continues to be the province with the most deaths.
