Ecuador registers 187.230 cases of COVID-19 and 13.288 deaths

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Ecuador has 164.009 recovered patients, which represents 88.35% of the total infected.

Ecuador reported 794 new infections and 24 more deaths in the last 24 hours. The country, this November 25, 2020, has 187.230 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 13.288 deaths due to the pandemic.

According to the Health Ministry, 8.877 people died with a positive diagnosis and 4.411 died with suspicion of carrying the respiratory virus.

At the national level, there are 488 stable hospitalized patients and 359 with a reserved prognosis. In total, there are 847 interned in one day. While 87 more people were discharged from hospital.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Ecuador has 164.009 recovered patients, which represents 88.35% of the total infected. In the past week, 3.370 more people recovered from the disease.

Pichicha registers 316 new infections and two more deaths in the last 24 hours. The province, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, has a total of 67.464 diagnosed and 2.138 deaths. Quito adds 295 more infected and the total number of cases in the Ecuadorian capital rises to 62.077.
