In Ecuador 15 political movements are registered for the 2021 elections

The electoral ballot for the President and Vice President of the Republic of Ecuador has already exceeded ten formulas.

The National Electoral Council (CNE) continues with the qualification of the candidates for the next general elections and announced that there are already fourteen pairs registered for the 2021 contest.

These lists of candidates for the Presidency and Vice Presidency of the Republic have the right to participate in the general elections of February 7.

The CNE counts 15 firm presidential binomials. This is how the qualification process of the presidential pairs progresses:

  • Democracia Sí (Gustavo Larrea y Alexandra Peralta)
  • Amigo (Pedro Freile y Byron Solís)
  • Ecuatoriano Unido (Gerson Almeida y Martha Villafuerte)
  • Alianza Partido Socialista Ecuatoriano-Concertación (César Montúfar y Julio Villacreses)
  • Sociedad Patriótica (Lucio Gutiérrez y David Norero)
  • Alianza Creo-Partido Social Cristiano (Guillermo Lasso y Alfredo Borrero)
  • Pachakutik (Yaku Pérez y Virna Cedeño)
  • Avanza (Isidro Romero y Sofía Merino)
  • Construye (Juan Fernando Velasco y Ana María Pesantes)
  • Alianza País (Ximena Peña y Patricio Barriga)
