Television networks interrupt Donald Trump’s speech to prevent misinformation

Donald Trump estimates that the elections are being “stolen” by the Democrats and he would win “easily” if “the legal votes” were counted.

This Thursday, November 5, 2020, several American television channels decided to interrupt President Donald Trump’s speech, considering that its content encourages disinformation.

Since the election campaign began in the United States, President Trump has promoted the idea of possible “fraud” in the elections.

The president commented that he would win “easily” if “legal votes” are counted, but if “illegal votes” are included, Democrats would steal the elections. After those words, networks like MSNBC, ABC and CBS decided to cut the transmission, while their presenters commented that the information that the president gave was “false.”

Trump left the press room without answering any questions from reporters. For their part, the networks that finished broadcasting the president’s pronouncement, such as CNN, also issued criticism of the president’s position.

The vote collision continues in the United States, however, it was known that the Democratic candidate, Joe Biden, takes the lead in states such as Pennsylvania and Georgia, states that were previously dominated by Trump.

If the trend is confirmed Biden would get enough votes winning 4 of the 5 states in dispute and would be the new president of the United States.
