Ecuador reports 126.711 cases of COVID-19 and 11.095 deaths

Ecuador registers 292 new cases in the last 24 hours. This September 21, the country has a total of 126.711 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 11.095 deaths due to this pandemic.

According to the Ministry of Health, in Ecuador there are 126.711 infected; 7.301 deaths with a positive prognosis and 3.794 deaths suspected of carrying the virus.

In the week of September 14 to 20, there were 5.789 patients recovered and the total number of people who overcame the disease amounts to 102.852.

Nationwide, there are 679 stable hospitalized patients and 373 with reserved prognosis. In total, there are 1.052 interned in one day. While 47 people were discharged from hospital.

Pichincha registers 170 new infections and adds a total of 33.605 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus. At the moment, it continues to be the province most affected by the pandemic in the country. Quito adds 166 new infections and amounts to 30.723 cases in the Ecuadorian capital.

With 292 new infections, this Monday, September 21, one of the days with the fewest infections for several weeks at the national level is reported
