Ecuador reports 732 new cases of Covid-19 in one day

Ecuador registers 732 new infections and 33 more deaths in the last 24 hours. In total, the country has 122.257 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

According to the Government, 7.236 people died after being diagnosed with Covid-19. In the last 24 hours there are 29 more deaths.

In addition, there are 3.793 cases of probable deaths from coronavirus, but which are related to respiratory failure. According to the figures, there was an increase of 4 deaths in one day.

Quito with 23% is the city with the highest concentration of contagions, it covers 23% of all patients in Ecuador. In total there are 28.060 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the capital.

Guayas with 3.299 concentrates the highest number of deaths. Manabí follows with 1.776 deaths. Then there is Pichincha with 1.524. Santa Elena, 634 continues; Los Ríos 520; El Oro 497; Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas 434 and Chimborazo 351 deaths.
