Ecuador registers 1.040 new infections and 48 more deaths in the last 24 hours. In total, this Thursday, September 10, the country has 113.206 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 10.749 deaths from this disease.
According to the Ministry of Health, there are 113.206 infected that were confirmed with a PCR test, while the total number of recovered patients amounts to 91.242, which represents 83.11%, with respect to confirmed cases.
At the national level, 6.971 deaths with a positive diagnosis and 3.778 deaths are reported with suspicion of carrying the virus. In one day, 48 more deaths increased.
Hospitalized cases: 764 are stable and 371 with a reserved prognosis. There are 1.135 patients hospitalized in one day, while 101 people were discharged from hospital.
Pichincha reports 388 new infections and 27 more deaths this Thursday. The province most affected reaches 26.122 cases of COVID-19. Quito adds 366 new infected and the total number of cases in the Ecuadorian capital rises to 23.583.
