Argentina declares public services access to internet, cell phone and pay TV

This access is a right protected by the Constitution of Argentina that allows access to education, culture and communication.

The president of Argentina informs that cell phones, internet and pay television are public services, for this reason it guarantees access for the entire population. In addition, the government freezes rates until December 31. This is a right recognized by the Constitution and allows access to education, culture and communication.

“I have arranged to freeze telephone, internet and pay television rates until December 31. Due to the restrictions that the pandemic imposes on us, no one will have to give up part of their income to face increases in the prices of these services ”, says Fernández.

Fernandez recognizes in this statement that “education, access to knowledge, culture and communication are basic rights that we must preserve.” In his Government they have decided “that from now on there will be inclusive plans of basic, universal and compulsory benefits for those who have less.”
