National COE approved vehicular circulation without restrictions throughout the country from August 07 to 10

In addition, the curfew extends from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the cantons that are in the confinement stage.

The National COE resolved that private vehicles may circulate throughout the country, from August 07 to 10, without distinction of license plate. This would take place with the aim of facilitating activities and movements of the population regarding the holiday.

The National COE unanimously resolved to allow the movement of all vehicles nationwide during these holidays, but issued guidelines for the cantons that are in the stage of confinement and that will serve only as transit places.

“In these sectors the curfew will be reduced from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Friday 07, Saturday 08, Sunday 09 and Monday 10 August.”

In the same way, the tourist land transport service will continue to operate without any type of movement restriction, whether it is a license plate or a curfew, between provinces and between cantons that are in the stage of social distancing.

To conclude, it was requested that citizens develop their activities in strict adherence to biosecurity measures, social distancing, use of a mask, curfew and other protocols issued by the National COE and cantonal COE, as well as ordinances issued by the GAD .
