Pichincha reports 214 new infections in one day. In total there are 14,139 confirmed cases in the province.
Ecuador reports 1,118 new infections in one day, being another peak of confirmed cases of COVID-19. In total, the country has 82,279 infected and 9,038 deaths due to the pandemic.
According to the Ministry of Health, there are 82,279 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus, 112,388 cases discarded, 5,584 deaths with a positive diagnosis and 3,454 deaths suspected of carrying the virus.
Regarding the situation of the infected, 40,216 are in home isolation, 840 are stable hospitalized and 356 with a reserved prognosis. In total, there are 1,196 patients hospitalized in one day, compared to 50 hospitalized patients who were discharged from hospital and 122 hospitalized in the last 24 hours.
In 30 days, according to the government report, no recovered patient has been registered and has remained at 5,900 since June 29.
