The president of the Conaie confirmed the spill on the Coca river and exposed it in a video.
The president of the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador (Conaie), Jaime Vargas, warned of a new oil spill that affects the Coca river, in the province of Orellana.
In a video of around two minutes, Vargas along with other indigenous leaders, aboard a boat, travel the Coca River to verify the oil spill.
The representative of the Conaie anticipated that he will talk with the people who would be in charge of cleaning the river, since when visiting the Kichwa communities settled in the area, damages were evident.
He said that more than 200 affected communities are affected by the oil spill
