June is the month with the most people hospitalized for coronavirus in Ecuador

The figures exceed 700 daily patients, according to the COE.

In relation to the previous months, the number of hospitalized by coronavirus is increasing.

According to information from the national Emergency Operations Committee (COE), from June 1 to 7 alone, more than 700 people hospitalized per day are registered. Although the reports do not break down the information of the places where these patients are.

In March, the daily average of patients hospitalized in stable condition due to COVID-19 was 42, while 27 was the average of those with a reserved prognosis, which added a total average of 69 cases per day.

On March 31, the numbers increased to 208 infected in a stable situation and 100 with reserved prognosis.

For April, the situation varied and the daily number of hospitalized patients reached 248 for those with a stable situation, and 142 for the average of those with a reserved prognosis, giving a total monthly average of 390.

In May, the daily average of people in stable situations rose to 407, and the average with reserved prognosis increased to 193, giving a daily monthly total of 600 patients.

In the first week of June, these figures rose, according to the national COE report, with more than 700 people hospitalized.
