Pichincha registered 209 new cases in this period: on June 4 it had 96 new cases and today it registered 113
Due to a system crash, the Ministry of Health did not send the report on the epidemiological situation in the country yesterday. This Friday, June 5, the number of infected is 42,106 and there are almost 6,000 deaths due to the pandemic nationwide.
On Wednesday June 3, there were 1,140 new infections and 263 deaths: on June 4 there were 531 confirmed cases and 80 deaths recorded, while on June 5 there were 609 new cases of infections and 183 deaths.
This June 5, of the 125,149 tests applied in the territory, 56,745 are discarded cases, while 42,106 are positive cases. Of this number, 17,018 are in home isolation, 516 are stable hospitalized and 221 with a reserved prognosis.
In addition, there are 4,100 recovered patients, 4,801 people were discharged from hospital and 11,858 were epidemiologically discharged.
In two days, Guayas registered 142 new infected, with a total of 14,326, while Pichincha registered 209 new cases, adding a total of 4,375 infected: on June 4 it had 96 new cases and today it registered 113.
