They confuse a man who fell asleep with a corpse

The event was registered in Cuenca and was clarified by the Azuay Governorate.

In the Narancay sector, south of Cuenca, a man, about 36 years old, who had fallen asleep wearing a biosafety suit, was mistaken for a corpse.

The residents alerted the National Police to the discovery of the body on the sidewalk near an ATM.

Upon arrival at the scene, the uniformed officers surrounded the area and waited for officials from the Ministry of Health to assess the alleged body.

But in his Twitter account, the Azuay Governorate noted that the man “apparently has alcohol problems” and that he was transferred to the Vicente Corral Moscoso hospital.
