Cedhu questions restriction of adequate mechanisms to report the violation of human rights

The Alliance of Human Rights Organizations adds this criterion and warns that there is a lack of justice in the country.

Through a letter, the Ecumenical Commission on Human Rights (Cedhu), in coordination with the Alliance of Organizations for Human Rights, urged the Constitutional Court to order measures of non-repetition and justice in the country.

Cedhu denounced the State for establishing defenselessness, authoritarianism and lack of justice in the face of the health emergency by COVID-19, with the restriction of adequate mechanisms to report the violation of human rights.

The letter was sent to the members of the Constitutional Court and to the Judicial Council, the administrative body of the Judicial Branch.
