India on Friday reported 6,168 new cases of Covid-19, bringing total to 44,442,507 infections since the beginning of the pandemic in January 2020.
India´s present Covid-19 patients decreased to 59,210, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare reported.
To date, as many as 527,932 people have died of coronavirus, including 21 deaths reported in the last 24 hours.
The country´s recovery toll jumped to 43,855,365, for a 98.68% national patient recovery rate.
So far, over 2.127 million Covid-19 vaccine doses have been applied in India.
