Thirteen patients are still hospitalized as a result of the fire that took place on August 5 in the Supertanker Base in the western city of Matanzas.
The official report from the Cuban Public Health Ministry (MINSAP) states that 117 patients have been discharged from hospitals, including 111 men and six women.
At the closing of this report, four people were in a critical condition, one in a serious condition, and eight in care.
The incident occurred on the night of August 5, when a bold of lightning during a storm hit a crude oil tank at the Matanzas Supertanker Base, and the flames devastated four fuel tanks.
In the accident, 16 people were killed and 146 were injured.
