The Minister of Health, José Ruales, reported that Ecuador reports 19 cases of monkeypox. However, none of the infected people have been hospitalized.
“They are all slightly ill, who are under home surveillance,” said the minister. He added that the contacts of the infected people are being followed up and that there have been no deaths.
Regarding teleworking, to avoid contagion of Covid 19, Juan Zapata, president of the National COE, indicated that so far 96,762 public officials continue in this modality.
