Russia’s presidential spokesman, Dmitri Peskov, assured that there is no deadline for Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine.
“There are no specific deadlines, the main thing is efficiency in executing the operation,” said the Kremlin spokesman in an interview with the Iranian state radio and television company, which were published by the Rossiya 24 network.
Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on more than one occasion that the Russian Army has a clear order to avoid causing civilian casualties and damaging civilian infrastructure.
“That is why the Armed Forces are working very carefully, use high-precision weapons and exclude any attack on civilian infrastructure, which, unfortunately, cannot be said about the Ukrainian side,” the official emphasized.
On July 16th, the Defense Minister Army General Sergei Shoigu met with the commanders of the operation, and instructed them to step up actions to exclude the possibility of Ukrainian troops launching massive missile attacks on cities of Donbass and other regions.
During his second visit to the conflict zone, Shoigu received reports on the current situation, the nature of the enemy’s actions and the progress of the Russian Armed Forces in conducting combat missions.
