NATO Secreatry denies sending troops to Ukraine

The Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Jens Stoltenberg, denied that the organization will send troops to Ukraine, as it intends to avoid a war with Russia.

NATO will not be part of the conflict, we will not send our troops to a region where they will be directly involved in war, the Norwegian politician affirmed.

According with the secretary, the alliance will give Ukraine support, but without direct participation in the war.

Stoltenberg stressed that the regional military bloc has the intention to prevent the conflict from turning into a war between Russia and NATO.

Putin warned that his country will respond with a blitzkrieg if anyone interferes in the ongoing events and create unacceptable strategic threats for Russia.
