Another 75 of the more than 120 fatal victims of the explosion in an illegal refinery in Nigeria were buried in a common grave in the Ohaji-Egbema (southeast) city.
Last Tuesday, 50 unrecognizable corpses were buried in an advance state of decay, which prevented the relatives from identifying them.
The explossion, which took place last Monday, was provoked by a fire in the illegal facility, located in the Ohaji-Egbema forest, outside the authorities´ supervision.
Ilegal refineries with lax security measures are common in this country, the second largest crude oil producer in the continent.
The first reports indicate that the catastrophe was caused by a fire in the illegal facility and neighbors affirmed that many of the victims are people who came from other parts of the country to buy fuels at lower prices than those of the market.
